Yamaha FZS-Fi Launched in Armada Blue Colour with Rear Disc Brake

Celebrating 10 years of the FZ series in India, Yamaha Motors announced the launch of new FZS-FI with several updates and colours. Featured with Yamaha’s Blue Core Engine Technology and multiple upgrades, the new FZS-Fi is likely to offer a great riding experience and unmatched performance. The All new FZS FI is designed keeping in view the needs and preferences of Yamaha customers, offering high performance and safety while maintaining its Macho image.

New Yamaha FZS FI Engine Specifications

The new FZS is now available in a vibrant Armada Blue colour with a sleek and sporty mirror design. The new FZ will be powered by the same 149cc air cooled fuel injection engine mated to a 5-speed transmission gearbox, that churns out 12.9 bhp power and 12.8 Nm of peak torque. The engine runs with Yamaha's Blue Core technology and is suitable equally for highways as well as city riding and daily commuting.

2018 Yamaha FZS FI New Features

The new Yamaha FZS Fi comes with a 220mm rear disc along with a 282mm front disc for improved braking performance. Moreover, the new version comes with 10 spoke alloy wheels replacing the 5 spoke alloys in earlier versions. Other features include an advanced suspension, skid-free split seat, sporty midship muffler and multi-function instrument cluster with Eco indicator. 

Yamaha has used the Triple Muscular Concept to create the FZS macho image while maintaining the lightness and sporty design of the bike. The All new Yamaha FZS Fi has been launched at a competitive ex-showroom price of Rs.86,042 in Delhi. Prices may vary according to the variants and location. Yamaha FZS Fi is expected to rival the likes of Suzuki Gixxer, Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 and Honda CB Hornet 160R in India.
